The fascinating career of a society crook in his attempts to steal the famous Brent diamonds forms the basis of the Aletro all-star production, “Someone in the House,” which holds pride of place at the Town Hall to-night. This six-reel feature tells the story of a gentleman crook, who, under the guise of his social polish, preys on society. He coldly plans tn procure the jewels of a famous family by making love to the winsome daughter. Success is aliout to crown his efforts when lie finds that a power stronger than himself has taken a hand in the game. How this power bends him to its will is shown in a series of gripping incidents which furnish a wealth of thrills. An extra fine supporting programme is in evidence this week, including Episode 5 of “The Aloonriders,” “Topsy Turvyt’ (star comedy), Ford Educational, and English Gazette.
