All the building materials, excepting the bricks for the chimney and the foundations, of a four-roomed cottage, including the paint and even the nails, have been landed in Wellington from America at a total cost of £l7l, says to-day’s N.Z. Times. The timber, which is reported to be exceptionally good, is all cut to length, and it is maintained that, as a very complete plan accompanies the material, it may Input together with a minimum of (rouble. The importer, it is said, intends to send ipi order for a number of others, so pleased is lie with the sample.
