A commit tee meeting of the Fox

ton Beautifying Society was held on Tuesday afternoon. Present: Messrs Perreau (president), Moorhouse, Trueman, Ilornblow, Poole, C. Symons. the work was submitted by Messrs Evans Bros., and accepted, the work to he carried out at once, to the satisfaction of the engineer, Mr Murray. It was also resolved not to carry out Mr Black’s scheme in its entirety this year, but to plant the trees in the localities marked on the plan, and hedges on the north and west boundaries, and to leave the paths and garden plots over until next season, in order to
