WANDERING STOCK
At the local SAL Court yesterday, before Dir J. L. Stout, SAL, Mary Small was charged with permitting two cows to wander in a public place within the borough. Accused was convicted and lined ss, with 7s costs.
Alary Holman was similarly charged. Jas. McKnight, borough ranger, Mated that he had had several complaints from various people about defendant’s cows being on the the streets. He had several times impounded I hem. Convicted and lined 10s, with 7s costs.
C. M. Sorenson, of Himilangt, was lined 5-, with 11.-' costs -and C» witness’ fee, for allowing two cws to .wander on the mad at Himatangi.
E. 0. Beard, of Taikorea, charged with allowing 13 calves to wander on the mail, was lined 10s, with .13-' costs and (is witness’ fee.
Stephen L. (’oriel t, of Mnngnv.ala, on a similar charge, was couvided and fined ss, with 17.- costs and (is witness’ lee.
