FOOTBALL

Jn connection with the New Zealand tour of the New South Wales team, the original list of fixtures included a game against Manawatu, to be played at Palmerston North on Wednesday, August 2-lth. As soon as the fixtures were published the Hoiwheiiua Union got into communication with the New Zealand Union, and asked that the match to he played at Palmerston North he agninst a combined Mnnawntu-Horo-whenua team, instead of against Manawatu. Advice has now been received that this alteration has been made.
