ALLEGED BURGLARY

Hamilton, July 20

John Young was charged at the Police Court to-day with being responsible for the recent burglary when CIOS worth of jewellery was stolen from the window of the shop of Bernard Kissen, pawnbroker. Evidence was given that the jewellow was recovered under a grass ,-od on the Chuulelnnds show gro : und.s, and the accused was seen in the locality by a railwayman on the day of the burglary. Accused was also identified by a young woman as the man she saw faking the jewellew from the broken window. Accused pleaded not guilty, and was committed for trial.
