THE WEATHER
The Government Meteorologist vires as follows: —
A storm appears to be approaching from the west. The indications are for variable and strong breezes, southerly prevailing, freshening, and backing by east to north, then gale. Expect dull weather, with much mist and fog in parts. Heavy rain to he expected, with rivers Hooded. Barometer has a falling tendency. Sea- heavy and increasing, tides moderate.
