Flora Ellen Waite has been committed for sentence for having disposed of the dead body of her child, with intent to conceal its birth. The case is the sequel to (he finding of ilie charred body of a male infant in the furnace at Alount Eden Gaol on July 17th. The doctor stated he could not tell whether the child had breathed, and that accused had informed him it was stillborn.
