PARLIAMENT TO MEET IN

The cabled information (hat Mr Massey proposes to leave for England on his return to New Zealand, via Vancouver, on 25th August, agrees with official advice received. Sir Francis Bell informed a Po.-t reporter that Parliament would lie .summoned in September. The exact date is not yet fixed, hut the opening will take place before Mr Massey’s arrival. It may be either 15th or 22nd September, hut it is not likely to he much earlier, as, after the Address-in-Koply and other preliminary business is disposed of. the important business such as the Financial Statement will require the Prime Milliter's attendance.
