The Government Meteorologist vires as follows; — The indications arc for westerly winds, freshening, and backing by west to south. ‘Weather probably cold and changeable, with scattered sho.wers. The weather will probably become very cold. Barometer falling, but rising soon. Seas rough, tides moderate.
