Wellington, June 29

William Little, a clerk in the emI ploy of the Government Labour Department, was charged at the Magistrate’s Court to-day with the theft of money of a total value of £lls 10s. ' His duties were to collect factory registration fees, and it is alleged that he collected £359 during II months and paid in only £243 11s. Accused, who pleaded not guilty, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail of £2OO being granted.
