HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 18th inst, reads: — Manila market dull and depressed. Sellers’ present quotations, J grade, spot, £4O; Mqrch-May shipment £3B; ■ June-August shipment, £3O 10s to £3l. New Zealand continues neglected, prices purely nominal. Sellers quote high points spot. £4l, fair £36, June-August shipment £3B and £35 respectively.
