Hector Gray, the New Zealand ioekev, rode the winner of the Queen Mary Stakes, of 1,000 sovs., at Ascot on Wednesday. Gray was engaged by Sir Cunliffe-Owen to ride in this event, and that- owner’s nomination was tho brown filly Morning Light, by Sunstar —Dcsmodinni, The distance was five furlongs.
