THE KING OF THE CIRCUS
TOWN HALL PICTURES
“The King of the Circus,” the new Eddie Polo serial which opens at the Town Hall to-morrow, has struck a new chord in serial interest. It is built around an engaging story, but above all it is laid in a new setting—a circus, the magic word that opens the way to every youngster’s heart, be he six or sixty. “The King of the Circus” was written fiTTm incidents that actually occurred in Polo’s own life. It sets a new standard. No longer does the villain, the heroine and (he hero clash in monotonous scenes, in the same settings, and with the same wild slugging, the same abductions, the same miraculous escapes, and the same old “horrors” for eighteen episodes. The three-ring circus used in the picture is aloue worth the prices of-admission, Gd and 1-' Id, children 3d. In addition to “The King of the Circus,” a five-reel Universal drama, “Wanted at Headquarters” (a charming and vigorous story),'and “Leaping Lions and Jailbirds,” a star comedy, will be screened. Don’t forget the prices, (id and Is Jpl, children 3d.
