Olaki C, Paraparaumu 0. Koputaroa forfeited to Otauru. THIRD. Rovers 0, Foxton 3. . FOURTH. Foxton 18, Rovers 0. FOXTON v. WERAROA. On Saturday, Foxton played and defeated Meraron, at Levin. The forwards were very evenly matched, but Foxton hookers generally managed to secure the ball. The backs were much better than the Weraroa backs, but failed to make much use of the opportunities offered. The game was far too close, and some of the players still pay no heed to the advice about running back. Other than this fault, the team put up a very good exhibition, and played with great spirit throughout the game. The. score, a penalty, was kicked by Kero. Mr Jack Rhodes refereed the game.
