The Levin Chronicle says that the Pox ton seniors thoroughly deserved their win against Hui Mai on . Saturday. Their backs handled 'LI e greasy ball with confidence, and the combination and defence were too sound for the opposition. The forwards quite held their own with the heavy Manakau pack, fox ton has the services of an experienced player in Burgess, an ex-Kangitikei rep. Burgess played in the match „ against Hui Mai on Saturday last, and made a fine impression as wing-three-quarter.
