FOXTON HARBOUR BOARD.

MINISTERS DEPUTATIONISED,

The Chairman of the Foxtun Harbour Board (Mr Linklater) and Mr W. Bock, Board member, waited upon the Minister for Marine and the Acting-Prime Minister, at Wellington on Tuesday in connection with mutters affecting the local port. The deputation was introduced to the Ministers by Mr Ed. Newman, M.P. The Ministers’ permission was obtained for the Board tit start dredging operations, and the charting of the river. Matters in connection with finance re Government grant, and the working of the port, were also discussed.
