lIIGII COMMISSIONER'S CABLE.
The High Commissioner's cable, dated 13th inst., reads: — Hemp market feels effect of coat strike. Manila market quiet, and Small business doing. J grade, MayJulv shipment, sold at £39, Febru-ary-April shipment was quoted at £42 early this week, now £4O. New Zealand market continues dull, nothing doing; sellers quote highpoints alloat. and May-July shipment £4O fair, spot £3O; possible buyers 40s lower.
