BOROUGH FINANCE.
Tho Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night’s Council meeting as follows: — ■"
During the month of April the sum of £362 3s 5d was received, and has been placed to the credit of accounts ns follows: —District fund account £356 5s lid, cemetery account £5 17s 6d. The ledger balances at the 30th April, 1921, were as follows: —Imprest cash account £lO, gasworks £225 13s, fixed deposit £I,OOO, genera] £333 15s sd, hospital and charitable aid £l6 5s Od. Reserves £157 15s 6d, all in debit, at total of £1,743 8s lid. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £B9 6s Bd, contractors' deposits £172, interest £8 13s 2d, library £9l 15s 7d, reconstruction £1,232 16s lid, sanitation £67 7s od, Town Hall £2B, water and drainage £1,184 9s lid, a total of £2,874 9s 9d.
