ALLEGED THEFT AT RACES.
'Christchurch, April 22. s Harold Genge, who is stated to have absconded while on bail, and who had been arrested at Adelaide, appeared together with James Watson at the Magistrate’s Court, charged with theft from the person at the trotting meeting at Addington on November 9th. Both pleaded not guilty, and' reserved their defence, and were committed for trial.
