OTAKI TRAFFIC BRIDGE
Levin, Yesterday. Serious structural defects have been discovered in the Olaki traffic bridge on the Main North and South road, and it has been closed. Repairs will take a week, and the road will be impassable to motor traffic, which will have to go to and from Wellington via the Wuirarapa.
