CROQUET.

A challenge match for the florablow Badges, held by Foxton, was played on the local lawn on Tuesday afternoon, the challenger.s being 31 rs Kirk and 3liss AYhit taker, of Levin. Mesdume* Evans and MeColl represented Foxton. The game was' a particularly close and interesting one. and the final result was a win for the challengers by five points. The visitors included a large number of members of the Levin Club, and they were entertained at afternoon tea by the local players, and altogether a very enjoyable afternoon was spent.
