BOROUGH FINANCES.
The Borough Treasurer reported at Monday night's Council meeting as follows: — follows: — During the month of March the sum of £SOO 11s 8d was received, and has been placed to the credit of the account's as under: —District fund account £403 14s 2d, cemetery account £0 17s (id. The ledger balances at the 31st March, 1921, were us follows: General £l5O 17s lOd, gasworks £331 10s fid, hospital and charitable aid £lO 5s Od, reserves £219 8s 1 Od, fixed deposit £I,OOO, all at debit, a total of £1,724 2s 2d. The accounts at credit were: Cemetery £B4 0s Bd, contractors’ deposits £174, library £9l 15s 7d, sanitation £ll3 10s od, council chambers reconstruction £1,232 10 s lid, water and drainage loan £1,758 2s Bd, interest £8 13> 2d, a total of £3,403 5s Od, SUMMARY.
