RIFLE SHOOTING.
This season’s class firing was commenced last Saturday, under which the Chib obtains a free grant of ammunition, at so much per member, from the Defence Department. There were eleven members present, and the first four practices, out of six. were got through. It then came on to rain heavily, and the remaining two practices will be fired next Wednesday or Saturday, in addition, all practices will be repeated for (hose members who were absent last Saturday. The scores were as follows: —
