The Town Clerk notifies that the District Electors’ Roll (supplementary list) will finally close on Wednesday, 13th inst., at 5 p.m. O’Connor and Tydeman. the Palmerston North jewellers, advertise dainty presents for baby, in their change advertisement in this issue. The Foxton Racing Club invite tenders, to close on Monday, 11th inst., at 4 p.m., for removing hill and filling at racecourse. Plans and specifications for work required may be obtained on application to the caretaker at the course.
Madame Brenan, of Auckland, will conduct a scries of arts and crafts classes in Foxton, which will include pastel painting (all branches), oil painting, pen painting (improved), poker work, basket work, pastenello, stencilling (improved), the courses of which comprise six lesson.'-. Particulars can be obtained, and specimens of work seen, at Mrs Walls'. Main Street.
