TOWN HALL PICTURES
EASTER ATTRACTIONS. The big Paramount Artcraft special, “The Dark Star,” based upon ..Robert. AY. Chambers’ novel of the 'same name, is listed for screening on Saturday next. The story is a thrilling one, dealing with the adventures of two secret service agents. Its complications are many, and it may safely be said that the observer never knows just what will happen next. Marion Davies is in the leading role, and is ably supported by Matt Moore, Dorothy Green and Norman Kerry. Ihc whole production is undoubtedly one of the finest seven-reel pictures that have come this . way. The “Great Gamble" serial will be the chief support. On Easter Monday evening a Gaumont production, “The Man in the Mask,” will hold pride of place on a fine holiday programme. Produced on the Reviera, in the South of France, this picture tells a fine story in convincing manner. An extra good comedy, “Surf Sirens,” is included in the same programme. _ You are sure of a good evening s entertainment on both Saturday and Monday, at the Town Hall.
