FIREMAN KILLED.
MOTOR-CYCLE CRASHES INTO TRAIN. Feilding, Tuesday. Feifiling added one more to the list of railway crossing fatalities this afternoon, when a well-known resident, Foreman Farnsworth, of the local Fire Brigade, lost his life. Deceased was hurrying on a motorcycle to a fire when, not seeing the approaching New Plymouth express, he collided with it at the crossing, and was thrown some distance. He died a few minutes later from shock. He leaves a widow and four little children.
