PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
A meeting of church managers was held at the manse on Tuesday evening, Rev, Thus. Halliday presiding. Resolved to combine harvest thanksgiving services with the annual special offering on Easter Sunday, 27th inst. The Ladies’ Guild were thanked for a' donation of £22 towards the Presbyterian Orphanages at Wellington. Resolved to grant the minister a month’s holiday at a date convenient to himself. Other matters of importance were discussed, and the meeting closed with the Benediction.
