MANAWATU LICENSING COMMITTEE.

The quarterly meeting of the Manawatu Licensing Committee was held yesterday. Present: — Mr J. L. Stout. Sil. (chairman), and Messrs R, Bryant and W. Murdoch. The following transfers of licenses were granted:—C. W. England to J. A. Coogan, Manawatu Hotel, Foxton; R. H. Beveridge to J. T. Follas, Post Office Hotel, Foxton; and J. 8. Sim to J. T. Brady, Criterion Hotel, Bulls. A conditional license for the Bulls races this month was granted to S. W. R. Evans, of the New Royal Hotel, Palmerston North.
