At the police court to-day, John Aubrey Rodgers, aged 15, and Arthur Alwen Nicholson, aged 19, who started from Timaru on New Year’s Day and committed thefts at Ashburton, Palmerston North, - New. Plymouth, and Wanganui, were ccfhvicted and placed on probation for two years. They were also ordered to be escorted back to Timaru, and io pay for the stolen goods, Nicholson to pay £ls and Rodgers £O. .
