CORRESPONDENCE.

(To the Editor.) Sir—l notice that tho borough roadmen have erected seats in the Triangle reserve, on concrete bases. This is a good idea, and will prevent holes being worn in the ground. May I be permitted to suggest to the Council that they remove the unsightly, chain fence around the enclosure and erect in its place a raised eoncrete kerbing. The old-fashioned chain fence causes amusement to visitors, and is a reminder of prehistoric times. Now that a handsome monument is erected in the enclosure the surroundings should be in keeping with it. Thanking you in anticipation, —I am, etc., RESIDENT.
