SAWMILL FATALITY.
Gisborne, Feb. 21. William Tierney, aged 46 years, was killed on Saturday at Harkness and Lunnon’s sawmill at Arero, 12 miles from Tokamaru Bay. At the inquest a verdict was returned that death was caused by shock and internal hemorrhage through deceased Doing struck on the chest by a lo" of wood thrown back from the saw.
