BOWLING.
A rink of howlers from the local club journeyed to Terrace End yesterday afternoon in connection with the visit arranged by the Manawatu Centre, and after a very interesting game were defeated by the narrow margin of one point on the last head. The green was in splendid order, and a very enjoyable afternoon was spent. The following are the details of the game in which tbo local rink took part: —
