“MALE AND FEMALE.”
TO-NIGHT,
The Paramount Royalty production of “Male and Female,” adapted from Sir James Barrie’s famous book and play, “The Admirable Crichton,” will be screened to-night only, at the Town Hall. This massive production of 10,000 feet forms the complete entertainment in itself. No brief outline could do justice to the story, suffice to say that it-deals with the lives of the haughty aristocratic family of Lord Loam, who consider themselves so far above poorer persons, but who are brought to their senses with a jolt when shipwrecked upon an island. They are then all placed on one plane, and called to a test of worth by a new life where the strong rule and-the weak serve. The picture abounds with subtle Barrie humour. Don’t miss “Male and Female” to-night. Prices Is Id and 2s Id, children half-price.
