HIGH COMMISSIONER’S

REPORT.

The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 22nd instant, reads: — The Manila market is dull and inactive, with prices lower. J grade, October-December shipment, sold £54 10s. Sellers quote FebrunryApril shipment at about the same price. The output from Manila last year was 1,070,000 bales, compared with 1,101,000 bales in 1010. The New Zealand market is dull, with sales high points fair due at £SO 10s, and sellers fair on spot at £4O. January-March shipment quoted: High-points £sl, fair £4O.
