MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE DISMISSED. New Plymouth, Jan.'l7. Arising out of a motor collision on New. Year’s Eve, in which a young woman named Ruby M. Coates met with fatal injuries, John Burras, a motor mechanic, appeared in the-Magistrate’s Court to-day, charged with manslaughter. At the conclusion of “the evidence for the prosecution, counsel for the accused submitted that a prima facie case had not been established, and Ilis Worship (Mr T. A. Bailey) dismissed the information.
