RACING COMMISSION

THE ITINERARY

The Racing Commission —Alessrs Fred Earl, K.C. (Auckland, chairman), AY. E. Bidwell (Fenthcrston), AY. H. S. Moorhouse (AYellington), J. H. AYilliains (Christchurch), and Major S. Rice (AYyndham) —met at AYellington on Tuesday to discuss and arrange its itinerary.

Yesterday the Commission commenced its travels, leaving for Featherston, where the first meeting will he held to hear evidence in support of applications for racing permits, ote. The Commission then goes through the Wairnrapa to Hawke’s Bay, visiting all the racing centres right through to Napier. It will afterwards come back to Wellington, via Ashhurst, Palmerston North, Bedding, Foxton, Horowhenua, and Otaki; and it is anticipated that it. will leave for the South Island on Monday, January 24th.
