GAB FALLS OVER A BANK
OCCUPANT’S NARROW ESCAPE. Whakatane, January 10. Mr Woodward, assistant county engineer, had a narrow escape this morning on the Wainui Road. The steering gear of his car jammed, putting the car over a bank. Mr Woodward wriggled free, hut the car turned several somersaults to the bottom.
