WEDDING
JACKSON —BET'LT. A wedding' which aliriicted n good deal of local interest' took place in All Saints’ Church. Foxton, on Wednesday morning, when Air E. I. Jackson, of the local Hank of X.Z. staff, was united to Miss (“Cissy ) .Betty, only daughter of Mr and Airs It, f. Betty, of Foxton. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. H. Walton, vicar. The service, was fully choral (the bride having been organist tor many years), and Air Thorbur presided at the organ. The interior of the church was tastefully decorated by members of I lie choir. The bride, who was escorted by her father, was attired in a cream gabardine costume, n dovc-grev hat with pink Irim-niin-s, and carried a beautiful hon,|Ue( of pale pink carnations and white blossoms. She was accompanied by Miss Hazel Xewth abridesmaid, who was attired m a lemon silk-striped eoltne dress, with bl . u . k Jace hat with lemon trmiminos, and carried a bouquel of fori'el -mc-nots and roses Mr Stace Bennett (of Auckland) _officiatetl as groomsman. The brides White check costume and black hat with pale pink Irimnungs After the ceremony the hud.il party and guests entertained !, t breakfast by the bride s parents. !, t tlfeir residence, where the usual felicitous toasts were honoured. The wedding gifts were numerous ilU d useful, testifying to lht ’ l ,o l m ' lnritv of the couple. 1 Mr and Airs Jackson motored to Wanganui, where the honeymoon is t’o be spent, after which they wth take up their residence m foxton.
