HIGH COMMISSI ONER’S REPORT. The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 31st December, is as follows; Manila market quiet and steady. Oclober-Deeember shipment quoted al £55 per ton; Deeember-Februarv and January-Mardi shipments £55 per ton, buyers. February-April shipment sold £55 10s per ton. New Zealand nominal. High points, spot, £54 per ton; Deeember-Febnuiry shipment £52 per Ion; fair, £52 and £SO per ton, respectively.
