Tin' public i.s reminded of the lecture to bo given in the Town Hull J (his evening by Mr T. M. Wilford, A Tvl.P., on liis trip through Culifornia. Mr Wilford is a' lirst-claw> ■ platform speaker, and the public can be assured of an interesting and inslmcrivo evening. The proceeds are ’ in aid of the funds of the Foxton Beautifying Society. Mr Wilford, ■ although on holiday, readily consented to the request to aid the funds of such a deserving body, and iv now remains for the public to" emulate his good example. ,We can assure our readers that a real ediß calional treat is in store for them, and despite ihe holiday spirit, there should be a good a-Utmliiuce.’ Trices of admission are 2s and .Is.
