OTAKI HOSPITAL.
QUESTION OF TAKING OVER
Matters in connection with the proposal for the Palmerston North Hospital Board to lake over the Otaki Collage Hospital were briefly dismissed at Thursday’s- Board meeting, when a letter was received from the Inspector-General of Hospitals, notifying that the conference of the Board with the Department regarding (lie Olaki Hospital would he held at Olaki mi January 12th, 1021, immediately after the arrival of the Napier express from Wellington.
Mr F. Penn (Otaki) deprecated the fact that the meeting wa.s to he held so late. He had been very much interested in the question, and leaving the district at the end of the vear.

Mr Hornblow (Boxton) asked Air Penn lo put the Board in possession of any correspondence passing between himself and the Minister on the subject, and Mr Penn expressed his willingness to do so. Tin* matter then dropped.
