A preliminary inquiry into the recon! struntime - of 1 1m; Kennedy inside rlie Manawalu bar was held by Die Superinlendent of Alai'canl ilc Marine (Captain 8. Stringer), al Wellington on Tuesday.
Evidence of witnesses were taken, and has been forwarded to the Marine Department for consideration.
