COUNCILLORS DISQUALIFIED.

SEATS ON COUNCIL FORFEITED Effham, Nov. 27. Two members of'tho Eltham Borough Council, Alossrs H. 0. Carman and I. J. Bridgcr, have been disqualified for technical breaches of the Municipal Corporal ions Act. Mr Carman accepted payment of over £lO in one year for goods supplied over a period of two years, while Mr Bridget 1 sold the council an article of a value exceeding £5. Mr Carman is appealing against the decision.
