TOWN HALL PICTURES.
TENNIS CLUB BENEFIT, • WEDNESDAY, For the entertainment to be given at the Town Hall to-morrow evening in aid.of the local Tennis Chib funds, a specially attractive programme has been selected. Ibe quaint favourite, Dorothy Gish, ''•Pfll take pride of place in her tra- ' vU<v on tlie wild and “movie” west. 3liss Gish's work in the title role i s very clever. Siie appears as a “two-gnu” girl of the A est, and acts as a ” wo-gun hero generally does, inasmuch as she shoots holes in people’s hats, rides bucking bronchos, etc. This picture is a decided innovation that is greeted with roars of appreciative laughter everywhere, A most- remarkable educational picture, “The Ghosl of Slumber Mountain,” is included. This film is the work of a scientist, and shows prehistoric animals in their native state.. “The Kid Railway,” and a line number of the Paramount ♦Magazine complete the bill, which will be screened at the popular prices of Is 6d and Is. children 6d.
