ROYAL PICTURES.
The programme screened last night will be repealed to-night. The continual request for British film that is heard in this country is well answered by the Broadwest production of “A Daughter of Eve,” featuring two of the most'prominent English artists of to-day, Violet Hopson and Stewart Rome, the latter being a matinee idol. The photography is a triumph, as is the direction and the acting of the whole east, as well as the stars. The story lias a novel twist, leading up to a most impressive climax, with a most surprising denouement. I lie production registers the 'British hall-mark of excellence, and is good enough to throw down the gauntlet to American producers. Thrills and humour abound in the last• English production, ‘‘A, Daughter of Eve,” and this picture is the last word in excellence of production and acting. This picture will be screened at the Royal to-morrow night.
