HIGH COMMISSIONER'S
REPORT
The High Commissioner's cable, dated 13th inst., reads: — The Manila marked' firmer at the beginning of (his ■week; J grade, Septemher-Novemher shipment, sold at £G4 10s. The market closed tlu!!, with less inquiry, and Novem-ber-January shipment sold at £O3. The New Zealand market is quiet. There was a limited demand early this week, when high-points, Or-to-her-Decemhor shipment, sold at £54; it has since sold at £53 10s. Other quotations are about same as last week.
