A TAILOR’S SUICIDE.
Wellington, Last Night
Rubin Dobson, a tailor, aortal 45 rears, was found dead at hi* home in Willis Street this morning, with Ids throat yut. At the inquest this afternoon a companion of deceased said he had accompanied him to Pukerua for the week-end. W ituess had noticed that deceased was rather quiet on the way out to the wharo, and at 3 o'cdock on Sunday morning he awakened witness by calling: “Fred. Fred, Lhave keen poisoned arsenic!” Deceased then recovered himself, and said that he must have been out of his senses, Later, however, he startled witness by asking him to take a note of what Hie bad said, as it was all true. He then cried and asked to be taken home. Witness added that deceased had threatened to take a boat out and dive overboard, remarking at the same time that lie really thought lie was going “off his bead,” and that be bad had no sleep for some lime. Witness took deceased home, and advised his wife to get a doctor as soon as possible. The coroner found that death was due to a wound self-inflicted, while in a state of temporary insanity,
