It, is not possible for every girl to learn‘to play, or .sing, or paint avoll enough to give pleasure to her friends. But there are at least fourteen “arts” whieh every girl cafi learn before siie is fourteen years old. Look at them, and see if you don’t think they are Avithin your reach: —
1. Shut the door, and shut it softly.
2. Keep your own.room in tasteful order. 3. Have a set time for rising in the morning, and keep to it.
4. Learn to make bread as well as cakes. 5. Never let a button stay off twenty-four hours. G. Ahvays Icuoav Avhcre your things are. 7. Never let a day pass withoutdoing something to make somebody comfortable.
8. Never go about Avilli your shoes unfastened.

10. Never fidget so its to disturb others.

Never fuss, or fret, or fidget. The girl Avho has learned to keep all these rules may almost he called a “mistress of arts.”
