QUANTITY TO BE RESTRICTED

'Plu> Board of Trade has decided to revert to the issue .of refined white sugar as from November Ist. This announcement has been made to enable retailers to sell off their stocks of white and brown mixture before supplies of white sugar come in. Though the sale of white sugar will be resumed on November Ist, no additional allotments of sugar will be allowed retailers at present. Pair supplies of refined sugar have been accumulated since the restrictions were imposed, but owing to the heavy calls which are likely to be made on ibis commodity in the near future, restrictions in supplies will probably be continued for some considerable time,
